Ladies Auxiliary – Who we are
The Ladies Auxiliary of Branch #63 is a proud and honorable organization spanning more than ninety (90) years of continuous service to our Branch, to our community and to the Legion in general.
It is an organization founded on sound principals: trust and respect for one another; the desire to achieve a common goal through good comradeship and service to others … not self.
The Auxiliary offers a sports program which one can participate in. There are Dart, Euchre and Cribbage programs and teams that one can join and compete with other Zone, District and Provincial branches.
The Auxiliary donate to local charities, students and their programs, and other organizations such as the Collingwood Hospice and Elephant Thoughts.
The Ladies Auxiliary for the past several years has shipped parcels to Canadian Troops stationed at home and abroad.
Supporting our veterans locally and two adopted children in foreign countries has long been in practice.
The priority of the Auxiliary is to support our Branch. Yearly, a donation is presented to the Branch to help defray the cost of maintaining the premises.
The Ladies Auxiliary caters to various functions held at the Legion. Click here for information regarding the Ladies Auxiliary Catering services.
The Ladies Auxiliary welcomes new members. To apply for membership just visit the Branch and ask the Steward for a Ladies Auxiliary application form . The General meeting is held the second Thursday of each month (except July and August).
